NZSE at the MedSci Congress 2019

3-4 September 2019, Rydges Hotel, Queenstown

The 2019 MedSci Congress will be held 3-4 September at the Rydges Hotel as part of Queenstown Research Week. MedSci is New Zealand’s premier multi-disciplinary biomedical and medical sciences conference and incorporates the meetings of the Physiological Society of NZ and the NZ Society of Endocrinology. Registration, abstract submission and plenary/symposium speaker details are now available. Early bird registration closes on 19 July and is $475 ($290 for students, $390 for postdocs), with a $20 rebate for NZSE members. The NZSE organising committee has organised a MedSci symposium on Perspectives and Problems of Puberty (speakers include Dr Victor Navarro, Harvard Medical School, and Prof Alistair Gunn, University of Auckland). The Nancy Sirett award lecturer this year is still to be decided – we welcome your nominations. As usual, we will be featuring a student oral presentation prize session. We also encourage oral presentations from more experienced researchers. MedSci is a great forum for updating your NZ colleagues on your research!
