NZSE at the MedSci Congress 2018

27th-29th August 2018
Rydges Hotel, Queenstown

The 2018 MedSci Congress will be held 27-29 August at the Rydges Hotel as part of Queenstown Research Week. MedSci is New Zealand’s premier multi-disciplinary biomedical and medical sciences conference and incorporates the meetings of the Physiological Society of NZ and the NZ Society of Endocrinology. Registration and programme details are now available. Early bird registration closes on 13 July and is $450 ($250 for students, $375 for postdocs), with a $20 rebate for NZSE members. The NZSE organising committee has organised a MedSci symposium on Uterine Function and Dysfunction. The Nancy Sirett award lecturer this year is Prof Jillian Cornish (University of Auckland). Prof Cornish will present her award lecture, titled ” Lactoferrin, an endogenous growth factor, immunomodulator and antimicrobial, is anabolic to bone” at MedSci. As usual, we will be offering student travel awards and a student oral presentation prize session. We also encourage oral presentations from more experienced researchers. MedSci is a great forum for updating your NZ colleagues on your research!
