Ibbertson Clinical Endocrinology Award

The Ibbertson Clinical Endocrinology Award recognises an outstanding clinical career in the field of Endocrinology in NZ.  The award comprises a certificate, $2,000 and a plenary lecture at the biannual Clinical Meeting, and complimentary registration.

Eligibility:

This will be an NZSE member having practised in New Zealand for at least 10 years with a significant contribution to clinical endocrinology in New Zealand.  The awardees must attend the Clinical Meeting to present their lecture.

Regulations:

Applications should include:

  1. A one-page summary of the applicant’s major scientific contributions.
  2. A brief CV (5 page limit), including but not limited to the following subheadings:
    • Publications from the last 5 years and a list of best 10 career publications
    • Grants (current and previous, last 5 years)
    • Peer recognition: invitations to speak – Contributions to research training
    • Contributions to Professional Activities
    • Contributions to teaching
    • Contributions to the development of clinical services
  3.  A letter of support from nominating NZSE member
